Tim Hill
Tim has worked as a Control Systems Engineer since 1989, providing him with extensive technical knowledge and project management skills. His broad control and automation experience spans the water, waste, process, safety and power industries.
He gained a Masters degree in Control Engineering after studying for a degree in Physics and Electronics. He then worked for several years at Bristol Babcock and Blackburn Starling before founding Booker Hill Projects Limited in 2003.
Throughout his career he has worked on control systems for clean and waste water treatment and for process and power plant. He has also gained specialist knowledge in the automation of anaerobic digestion waste processing and fire training rigs, whilst continuing to grow the business.
He has used a variety of PLC, HMI and SCADA software and equipment including Siemens, Allen Bradley (Rockwell) and Mitsubishi. Tim is trained in Industrial Networking with Hirschmann Switches, he holds a CSCS Card and has completed First Aid at Work and Confined Spaces training.

Andy Semple
Andy is a Senior Systems Engineer. He has an engineering degree in Electronics and has worked in the automation industry since 1996.
His systems career started as a control electronics engineer for Siemens Drives where he gained a lot of experience designing and using Siemens Micromaster VSD’s and Profibus systems. Since leaving Siemens, Andy has worked for several other employers (Blackburn Starling, WT Parker and ACS) and written software for PLCs, HMIs and SCADA systems using Allen Bradley and Siemens equipment across the Water Treatment, Brewing, Food and Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries.
Andy is trained in Industrial Networking with Hirschmann Switches, holds a CSCS Card and has completed First Aid at Work training.

Jason Smith
Jason is a Senior Electrical Engineer who has an HNC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. He has worked in the automation industry after starting an apprenticeship in 2001 and has 10 years experience within the power industry.
He has experience with many electrical design solutions including Eplan and AutoCad electrical and is also HV Competent. He joined Booker Hill Projects Ltd in 2021 to expand on his PLC skills and to aid the Company with his electrical knowledge. Jason holds a JIB ECS card and a CCNSG Safety Passport. He has completed BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, Emergency First Aid at Work ‘plus’, PASMA Working at Height and Confined Spaces Training.

Luke Jones
Luke is a systems Engineer who joined us in 2018 and has worked on PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of process plant mainly using Allen Bradley kit. He holds a CSCS Card and has completed First Aid at Work training.
Prior to joining us, he gained a distinction in his Master of Engineering (Integrated) Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering and worked as an apprentice in Aircraft Maintenance with British Airways.
